Bethany Waller is a naturopathic doctor who focuses on primary care family medicine and integrative mental health. She received her doctorate from Bastyr University in 2019 with extra training in pediatric and adolescent health, women’s health, counseling, biofeedback, environmental medicine, and intuitive eating and homeopathy.
Dr. Waller earned her bachelor’s degree in cell biology from Western Colorado University. It was on the Western slope of Colorado, where she learned the importance of connecting with nature, movement and community as foundations for health. Her background in botanical and ecological research inspired her to pursue naturopathic medicine as a way to connect her love for the planet with her love of caring for people. She finds that often in healing ourselves we can heal our communities and environment.
Dr. Waller believes that each person’s journey to optimum health is unique so the therapies used to support each person along the way should be as well. Dr. Waller’s goal is to act as a guide on that journey. She focuses on treating the whole person. She does her best to uncover the root cause of, and find connections between symptoms. Dr. Waller commonly uses nutrition, botanical medicine, physical medicine, and pharmaceuticals as needed and desired by the patient, to help them reach their goals.
